Dear Fellow Ibusans,
In an effort to reverse and defuse the ills and the current confusion
that has pervaded our National Association following the August
30, 2008 local event of Baltimore-Washington Chapter, the National
executive committee in a unanimous decision at its regular meeting
session on Sunday, September 14th 2008 voted to have a national
meeting dubbed a “mini convention” to be held in Memphis,
Tennessee from Friday, April 17, 2009 through Sunday April 19,
2009.
The local chapter presidents have been directed to inform their
members about this noble intention of the committee and the timing
of the said function chosen for adequate preparation. More detailed
information will be sent in due course to all the chapter presidents
for further deliberations with the general membership of their
respective chapters.
